If you want to stay in a town, but still want access to some of the most beautiful scenery in Zealand and several major attractions, the bed & breakfast at Stay@Delores in Haslev is the perfect choice! You’ll be within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, a theatre and the station. A few kilometres outside the town, you can enjoy the rolling countryside with open farmland, lush woods and peaceful little lakes. You can experience the idyllic eatery Villa Gallina, Gisselfeld Convent, the manor Bregentved and the largest climbing park in Denmark, Camp Adventure.
The buildings used to serve as a sewing school and then as a recreation centre, so they have always been full of life, which you can sense when you walk up the old staircase. But everything has been refurbished since then, so it’s all beautiful and very welcoming. The rooms are bright and simply decorated – all with their own TV. There are shared bathrooms, a large common room where you can always make a cup of delicious coffee (one of the hosts is a bit of a coffee nerd!), a large, sunny terrace with loungers and a small living room with various board games.
If you order breakfast at Stay@Delores, you can look forward to a very special experience – not just because of the good coffee, but also because the hosts take pride in giving their guests a good start to the day.
